Good all round tyres

Ive only done 70 miles on these new tyres, but so far Im very pleased with them. Bought them as replacements for my Vittoria Rubino Pro Clinchers that had picked up a bad split from a bit of glass, and so wanted some hard wearing tyres. Early signs for me though are that the rolling speed is less for these compared to the VRs. This is the only reason why I havent given it a 5*. But they are exceptionally tacky around corners - meaning Ive never had so much fun on high speed cornering!

My previous big "S" Armadillo tires felt like they were trying to kill me. These ride much smoother. At this point I don't care about any speed difference (not sure if there is). It seems like I'm on a different bike now.

CONTINENTAL GP 4'S Great Tire

I started using Continental GP 4 Seasons for long distance riding 200k plus. I normally ride the GP4000 but they do not hold up as well for Randonneuring. The 4 Seasons are a good blend of comfort, performance and toughness. I have yet to have a flat with them.

Another great Continental tyre

A friend had these and really rated them for being half way between heavy old Gatorskins and light weight GP 4000's. I kept riding the latter of the two until I puntured and looked closely at the tyre which had been cut to shreds by General winter use. The 4 Seasons are tougher and provide more grip on the sidewall for cornering confidence on rubbishy road surfaces.

Great Tyres at a Competitive Price

I wanted to see if riding 25mm tyres gave a smoother ride so I was looking at getting a couple of tyres. ProBikeKit were already giving a great discount and then gave an additional discount for purchasing two. With free delivery thrown in, it was a deal not to be missed. Will certaininy look to buy more from ProBikekit in the future.

Grand prix 4 season tyre

First time trying these tyres, not to difficult to fit, using as a daily commute and training, first impressions are that they are very secure tyre dry or wet giving confidence while riding at speed, reason for buying these tyres is for the extra puncture protection and winter profile, so far so good, never had a problem with conti tyres as I have a puncture free time with sport contacts on a mtb.

great pair of winter tyres - good grip and puncture resistance, but still roll nicely and don't feel too sluggish
