Great Tire
5Tire worked well in Shimano and Campy Zonda wheels. Bought the Continental Grand Prix 4 Season 28mm tire and had no problems fitting. The Campy wheel was a little more difficult to install. Tires ride well and are confidence inspiring. They measure 27mm wide at 105psi on the Campy wheel. This is my tire of choice and Probikekit has the best price. Shipping to the USA was no problem.

Another great Gran Prix tire.
4I have Conti Grand Prix 4000s and Grand Prix 4000sII on two of my road bikes I have hour thousands of miles on each flat-free. When my 13 year old son needed new tires for his road bike, I wanted tires with similar resilience so that he can ride worry-free when out on his own. So far he has only put a couple hundred miles on his 4- season tires and I expect them to last him as well as my other Conti tires have lasted me. I would recommend all of the tires above. Ultimately I went with the 4-season for my son because of the value that I found for a pair with a pair of free tubes thrown in. I wanted to get 25mm for him but only found 23mm at this price but we can live with that. According to some the 4-season tires offer even more protection so I fully expect these to last a very long time.

One flat after another
1Got 3 flats within the first 30 minutes of taking these out on their first Maiden voyage. 2 on the rear, one in the front. I gave up after that. Bad luck or bad tires? Not sure. I guess I won't know until I road test them again. I don't think I've had 3 flats in the past 18 months combined riding 2 different road bikes with lower cost tires. This may have been a freak day and I may update review later but right now Im really frustrated.

Tops For A Tandem - Great For A Single
5I use this tyre exclusively for our tandem. Buy these in the folding tire, if you have the extra money. These will give you the ultimate in performance, and increased ride quality or comfort. This tyre is somewhere between the race-oriented Grand Prix 4000s and training-tough Gatorskins. The 4-Season is aimed at riders who want a bit of extra flat protection, so they are a really great training tyre that is not as bulky as most that offer flat protection. I usually get 2000-2400 miles out of a rear tire before cords are exposed while running 110 psi with a team weight of 305 pounds. Teams that climb a great deal or those with greater weight should expect fewer miles, also for single bikes perhaps better than I get.

Very good tyres
4As I have said before, long lasting nice riding tyres, good in the wet and dry. Pro bike are an essay company to deal with and have never missed a delivery date. Keep up the good work guys.

5I recently purchased 2 Grand Prix 4 Season`s DuraSkin Tyres 23mm I have been using this type of tyre for 5 years for Long Distance Cycling and find that they wear well and grip very well and are well priced I recommend them to my fellow cyclists

Great, durable tire
5Our season isn't too long here in AK, but as short as it is, you get a full season of road grit, ground up glass, and various sharp objects that will DESTROY any tire that isn't up to the task. These are and then some. Bravo Conti!
