Shimano Dura-Ace CN-7901 Bicycle Chain - 10 Speed
5one of the lightest chains available and incredibly durable. I've put nearly 10k miles on my first one. Although I don't check mine with a chain tool. I just run the chain for a couple seasons and replace the cassette and chain together. Always keep the chain and cassette matched. Rings get replaced every 3rd chain. No breaks yet in 30k miles.

Great Chain & NIB
5Contrary to some reviewers, my CN-7901 Shimano Dura-Ace chain did come new in a box (NIB). PBK's holiday sale price is the best I've seen for this chain. I replaced my first CN-7901 at 3500 miles when trying to find the cause of some noise in my drive train. It still had less than 75% wear. The noise turned out to be worn bottom bracket cups (again). The CN-7901 is just fantastic. The most life I ever got on the CN-7801 Dura-Ace was 2800 miles. The most life I got on the equivalent Ultegra was 2500 miles. And I lube my chain at every 200 miles to maximize chain longevity and keep things running smoothly.

Best chain; NIB
5The Dura-Ace CN-7901 outperforms its predecessor, the Dura-Ace CN-7801. I changed my 7901 after 3500 miles with less than 75% wear because I was chasing a noise in my drive train that turned out to be worn bottom bracket cups. I never got more than about 2800 miles from a 7801 on the same bike measuring a full 75% wear using a chain wear tool. I always measure wear in several different spans along the chain.. I faithfully relube my chains every 200 miles. PBK sent my 7901 in the original Shimano box.

Its the best
5When you buy the best, you expect nothing less. Dura Ace chains continue to deliver in my experience, having lost count of how many I have cycled through (no pun intended) over many years. Worth the few extra dollars? Of course.
