Bike bag

The scicon bike bag has been amazing. Used it for a recent cycling holiday and have no complaints just praise. Watched the video first to see how it all works and it couldn't be easier. After securing the bike there was plenty of room for accessories including the track pump and clothing for the week. No problems at the airport and such a pleasure to wheel around. At home it folds neatly away and is kept clean inside the cover provided. Have recommended to all cycling friends.

Scicon Aerocomfort - a winner!

5

After scouring reviews & sites for the pros & cons of bag v box, I settled on the Scicon Aerocomfort 2.0. I will be honest: I am a nuffty at tech stuff. When I saw that you dont have to remove the handlebars, seatpost, pedals etc AND at a damn good price I had to get it. OK, so it arrived, I watched the "how to" video and whilst a bit of mucking around with the skewers and some straps it worked a treat. Only 17mins from start to zip up. The bike fitted neat & snug, the padding is real good, it rolls well (a sp wheel as backup a nice touch) and was easy to move around when I took it away on first road trip. My next trip is to Hawaii where I will be at mercy of baggage handlers. However I feel that my bike (Trek Spd Concept 7.5) will get there & back OK. My only query has been with the bar that goes over the rear derailer. How does that sit in place? But this is only quibble - there is also a lot of room for all my tri stuff in the bag, a TSA approved lock and good handles/straps. I seriously like this bag!

Great value and distills confidence

Really well made - fills me with confidence that my pride and joy will arrive safe and sound. Also requires limited dismantling of the bike which in my book is a real bonus.

Simple,easy safe and secure

The Scicon Aerotech 2.0 is an ideal choice for someone wanting to get their bike abroad safely and securely. It is light and fully packed with tools, bike and some extra kit it came in at under 23kg. It was a daunting thought to have to pack this at first, Having never done this before i didn't know what to expect. Thanks to the simplicity of the Aerotech 2.0 case and the clear click and go instructions was a piece of cake. I was very surprised how quick and easy the case was, it has a removable drag strap this makes the bag glide along even though it can be a little unstable on rough surfaces. Its has loads of neat little features that are very useful like a personal details zip pouch, a airport safe combination lock, spare wheels, rear mech protective case, extra padded corners over the handlebars and a saddle cover.

Sicon TSA Bag

I had the opportunity to use both the Sicon TSA and Evoc bags on recent trip.We ended up buying the Sicon as my wife found it so easy to tow around the Airport and Hotel sand easy to pack.We added more padding and rotated the bars over .Also my New Giant Defy SL0 with ISP fitted perfectly ,with riding gear and tools etc some clothes it came in at 20kg . Looking forward to using it on our Trip from NZ to Spain in July.

Easy to use travel case

4

This case is about as easy as it gets. No dismantling bikes, no handlebars removed etc. Just take the wheels off and slot everything in. Literally 2mn to put Bike in bag. I put some cardboard on the outside of the wheels to protect the wheels and it all seems good. Quality seems good and great wheels for rolling through airports. It is large though and getting too and from airport with the bike in the bag is abit of a mission unless you have a big car.

Excellent bag

5

It is really easy to load the bike in this bag. Just remove the wheels and clamp the dropouts to the internal frame. Connect the straps and the derailleur guard an you are done. 5 minutes is enough to complete the entire operation. No tools required. You can leave the pedals on, bars, even bottles. Fully loaded with the bike it still is 35 lbs or so. It is also one of the few bags that works with ISP designs (integrated seat post). This is one well thought out and detailed bag.
