Great shorts for spring rides
5an excelent product, very well shaped. Im 186, 90kg and XL is perfect for me. I like tight shorts. Very comfortable. Fully recommanded!

no rain
5Excellent shorts I tested in a slight rain, heavy rain and in the warm weather. In the cold and rainy weather no rain system works. Also in the warmer weather bibs are not too hot.

Not quite no rain
4I bought 2XL size shorts and they are a cozy fit, they are tighter than size L shorts of a well known British make that I also own. That said, they are comfy when on and the slightly fleecy material is much better in cool conditions than regular lycra. The pad is quite thin, seemingly made of single density foam. It is well sized but not the most comfortable I have used, it is good for a couple of hours but I get a bit fidgety on longer rides. Waterproof? No! They are good in drizzle and road spray but any serious rain will seep through. However, the finish means they don't get soggy, you just feel a bit damp. One day someone will make a pair of properly water resistant breathable bib shorts for a reasonable price. In the mean time, these will done.

Fiandre No Rain bib shorts
5I have only wore them once for a 90km fall windy cool ride and they were comfortable and warm enough without being too warm. They are not wind proof however but the Roubaix fabric was breathable. I have yet to ride them in the rain but even after washing the fabric repelled water brilliantly. I ran them under the faucet and the stream of water bounced right off. As for the fit and sizing they are sized just like Castelli bibs that I have. I am 5'8",160lbs and chose a medium.

Good foul weather shorts
5Extremely comfortable well fitting shorts for cooler weather. I have been wearing mine with leg-warmers and they are warm and cosy. I haven't noticed them being particularly rain resistant. Went out in the rain with them and still got wet - these have possibly kept me dryer than another make - hard to say. Recommended though as a very good pair of thermal shorts.

Sportful Fiandre bibshorts
5Same great pad and much improved leg gripper. Warm enough for zero degrees (with matching no rain leggings). These will be my 'go to' kit for brisk winter training and early season races
