Love my new shoes
5I have worn Shimano shoes for a long time. It is nice to see that Shimano has refined their shoe style. The carbon sole is stiff and the shoe itself is both light and attractive providing for the perfect combination of comfort, performance and styling.

5For the price, you can't get a better shoe. The 1st wear felt like they had been my primary cycling shoes for months. Comfort and look is 2nd to none!

5I was starting to get a little worried about my order because it took 2 weeks to get to me in Texas but all is well and it was well worth the wait. so shipping is not an issue to the US with Pro Bike Kit. Now about my Shimano R171 shoes. This is my 3rd pair of Shimano shoes I have had in the last 15 years and I was due for a new pair. Then I saw the new style Shimano half black & half white I had to have them. I like a light color of cycling shoes but black does not show dirt. These are black in the inside where you need it and white on the outside where it shows the most. I don't know why in the description they don't say patent leather because they is what they are. How it holds up remains to be seen. I like to use a colored paint pen to touch-up my cycling shoes but can't do it to these but hopefully these wont need it. The fit felt a little snug at first but once my foot was in and I mounted my cleats they worked great and a little different. I think the way they hold your foot is why but it seems to give my feet more leverage on the pedal strokes. I only took a 20 mile test ride but I like them. And I must have the only pair around here because I have not seen anyone else with a pair because you can't help but notice them if you are a cyclist.
