Quality Kit
4Wanted a jacket for the winter on my 1hour plus commute each way but also wanted something totally waterproof and packable. This jacket ticks every it's totally waterproof, excellent cut and stretches. I bought xxxl so if your a 115cm / 44-46" chest like me it's a great fit. Like any fully waterproof jacket breathability is the issue but I sweat a lot anyway especially as I live in wales and there are hills in every direction. I've had this jacket approx a year and have bought several Sportful products since so go ahead you won't be disappointed and with the discount it's a must buy.

Seems good. Sizing info
4A little premature as not tried in the rain however when I was buying it seemed like a mindfield of reports when it came to sizing so here's my take on things I am 5' 9", medium- slim/ athletic build. Almost always take medium sized clothes.32" waist, 38" chest Bought medium jacket and seem like the right choice .not too baggy and flapping over a light top yet still goes over a soft shell + thermal top......which is winter wear....which is when you are most likely to need it. Packs nice and small, fits in back jersey pocket easily If it keeps the rain out then it'll be an amazing bit of kit Will update when rained on

4Very pleased with this jacket although expected it to be too large as usually take large and this is extra large but at such a special price was worth the gamble. Its hard to find stretch waterproofs that work but this one seems to work well & is of the quality you expect from Sportful. Would certainly get another if this gets damaged or exceeds its useful life.

Functional and stylish
5Very stylish jacket which folds up into a pouch and can be carried in a back pocket. Very good fit. Unlike many similar jackets the 'stretchy fabric' allows me to wear a tighter fit without restricting movement. So far has kept me dry when used although I haven't been out in prolonged heavy rain yet. Unlike many similar jackets this is much more breathable and you don't end up sweat soaked.

Great jacket
4As with all waterproof items of clothing, the breathable side of things is what lets this jacket down. I have used it as a windproof as well as out in muggy Scottish rain and found it generally very, very good. Strangely enough, the sleeves seem to be the least breathable area of the jacket, generally being fairly damp after a ride, from the inside rather than from out. All in all, this is a great bit of kit, packs really small, fits rather well with very little wind-flap and performs like a jacket costing a whole lot more.
