Precision Options

4iiii offers a few types of power meters: the Precision 2 and the Precision 3, which are available as either single sided or dual sided. Available in a range of crank lengths, and across the full spectrum of Shimano cranksets, there’s an option to suit most bikes and riders.

The single-sided option is attached to the non-drive-side crank arm. Installation is a doddle: it’s as easy as replacing your regular crank arm. The downside of the left-side only option is that it only records power data from your left leg and doubles this to give an estimate for both. While this might work fine for you, if you have a discrepancy in your left/right leg then you may get inaccurate data.

Double Up

The dual-sided device will combine the left-side device with another gauge mounted to the crankset. This will offer a more complete representation of your power as it’s recording both sides separately. Of course, the obvious downside here is that it costs more.
