Bought these in late 2018. Used them on average once a week at most, the rubber cover has just come away and fallen off. Not very durable at all. 3 months outside the warranty - nothing can be done !!!!!!

Work well in certain environments

I've been using fairly high quality ear buds while cycling and running (Sennheiser and MEE audio) but wanted to try something that would give me better situational awareness. The Trekz phones certainly do that but have some limitations that may mean they aren't the right solution for everyone. In brief: these would be great if you plan on listening to audio books and podcasts while running, or cycling at LOW speeds (or when driving for that matter) and you don't mind the slight pressure they exert on your jawbone. The strengths: they look great and are extremely compact. They maintain a good bluetooth connection even when at a significant distance and it is so nice not to deal with headphone tangle. The battery lasts a surprisingly long time. They work well for running and the added situational awareness is awesome. I found they worked very well as a hands free bluetooth headset for in the car too. They fit fine under a bike helmet. Some reviews I read had mentioned audio leakage but in a quiet environment I could play material at a perfectly adequate volume without the person next to me hearing anything. Now the weaknesses: I found them nowhere near as comfortable to wear as standard earbuds and disliked the pressure they exerted on my jawbones. Certainly not something I wanted to wear for long periods of time. Also the audio quality is not at the standard I'm used to, it is perfectly adequate for podcasts and audio books but nowhere near the quality I want for listening to music. The biggest disappointment for me was that they were next to useless on my cycle commute, as the wind noise at the speeds I ride at (40+ km/h) drowned out the audio. I've given only 3 stars as the lack of a comfortable fit means I'm unlikely to use these often (note - I'm a big guy with a correspondingly large head, so this might not be an issue for smaller people). If I had found them comfortable I would have been happy despite the lower audio quality as increased situational awareness was a huge bonus.

Brilliant. I have waited a long time for headphones like these. I have small ear canals so other in ear headphones are too big, these are just perfect. The sound and clarity is great, with easy to use features. They are comfortable. My only criticism is that I was in a dilemma with the 2 sizes, either the mini or standard headphones. What may have been helpful would be a guide stating measurements from where the top of the ear joins the side of the head left to right for each size headphones. I think I could have done with the mini instead.

These things work pretty well on quiet paths or streets under 15-17 mph. Beyond that wind noise drowns out the headphones. I use them to listen to audio books while riding on a MUP. In this environment they are great! I had been using JBird X3's but experienced drop puts if I moved my head randomly. They co-exist well with Oakleys and helmet straps.

Changed my running life

I’ve started running long distance but have never found a way of listening to audiobooks while running. All the expensive in ear earphones I’ve tried just fall out with a bit of sweat. These headphones work brilliantly especially while running, they don’t slip and since they don’t fix in your ear canal t doesn’t really get affected by sweat. Connection via Bluetooth is good and it connects almost instantly when you turn on the device. 6 hours of playtime is plenty for me at the moment. Delivered next day when ordering at 10pm on Sunday so great service from probikekit

Trekz Titanium Bluetooth Headphones

The headphones are great for running. The controls on the headset are really useful as you don’t need to get your phone out. I have carried my mobile in a backpack & the signal is still good. It’s a shame they are not fully waterproof & as reviews state the back of the headphones do hit your collar. If you can afford the Titanium Air model, the fit is believed to be an improvement. When external noise is loud, the music etc on the headphones is hard to hear, but that’s the idea really of having bone conduction headphones. Overall a good product endorsed by England Athletics.

This is my second pair. I first bought the Aftershokz (about 3-4 years ago). I use them for riding and they are brilliant. I can hear road traffic, other people (including fellow riders) and still hear music. I like riding with music - generally rides when we're single file or solo. My first pair broke I'm guessing due to turning it on & off & it weakened at the left temple point. The headphones continued to work, but the button didn't. Even with this problem I bought the Titanium pair, I'm hoping that new pair have more strength at the over ear point as they flex there with turning on and off. They are comfortable and easy to wear. I can even wear sunnies when they are on with my bike helmet.
