4Just received the wheels and haven't had a chance to ride outside yet...not until next spring....snow is on it's way.....heard good reviews ....

Cosmic Wheels
4These wheels are fantastic - i'm only a few rides in to them and am already starting to see the benefit. Changing them over is a bit of a faf and my mate with all the tools had to assist me but when on they look amazing and ride really well. Like others, the brake squeal is quite unbearable on the first few times of being used but that soon wares off. They are much lighter than those they replaced and at speed feel very comfortable save for in strong cross winds - my previous rims had no border to them whatsoever. I do certainly feel that as you approach an incline that you can maintain speed for longer despite being sceptical before buying. I'll update this after a few more rides when they start to bed in. Ordering via the website however was a pain - the delivery address and registered card address we're confused and contact to the helpdesk confirmed policies in place that meant I needed to be at home to wait for their delivery rather than change it - frustrating beyond belief!

Cosmic sle
5A well packaged box arrived containing my Cosmic sle wheels. Took them out and all seemed in good order, no scratches and wheels running perfectly true, so I fitted the supplied brake pads onto my planet x stealth and I was ready to go. I must admit the first trip out on the wheel was fairly uninspiring, a 75 mile windy, wet, and twisty ride on the new ironman Uk course where I got wetter than I did in the 1 hour swim I did prior to the ride. However the next ride was better. Riding with a training partner who is far stronger than me I did manage to stay on his wheel for longer than normal on our 10mile TT section and even took a turn on the front after he had tired a little on an incline. Subsequent rides have shown that once above 22 mph the wheels come into their own and allow me to hold a faster average (based on strava data) over longer distances. The price was good and considering it includes tyres as well I thought very good. Overall I am very happy as I wanted some aero clincher wheels that weren't too heavy and I feel the Cosmic SLE wheels deliver in all areas.
