Interesting riding tires

5

I bought these tires because I cannot longer find the Corsa Evo CX in my regular size. Like all Vittoria tires, these tires are very well finished with no obvious blemishes or defects. The box states that the tire's compound offers two different "feels," a hard feel while riding fast (for less rolling resistance) and a soft feel for cornering or accelarating (for a better grip). At first I assumed that this was just advertising fluff. After the first few miles, that included climbing, cornering and fast descent I am convinced that the advertising claims are in fact true: These tires do feel differently under different riding conditions! The feel is comfortable, reassuring, fast and confidence-inspiring. Combined with Vittoria latex inner tubes, these tires come close to the feel and performance of tubular tires. I still miss my old favorite Corsa Evo, but if these new tires continue to perform as expected they will soon become my new favorites. Good job Vittoria.

I am not convinced

I purchased a pair of the Corsa G+ for my new Pinarello F8, in spite of only riding very good Swiss roads and Cycle paths, I received a big gash on the rear tread on my first ride. Normally I get maybe one or two puncture a year. I made the mistake of purchasing the Rubino Pro G+ version for my second bike, to my surprise another puncture on my second ride. I have been riding now for around seventy years, in many various countries, am I satisfied with G+ Tyres? they do roll very well, but I see no time gain when I need to constantly repair punctures. I am now using the normal Corsa as I have done for many years with no problems!

Stylish tyres that look great on my black CAAD 12. Plenty of grip and tough enough for our course chip seal tarmac in NZ

Corsa G+ is an A+

I've got about 500 miles on these now and these are the nicest clinchers I've ever used and better than all but two tubulars (Clement LGG and Corsa G+). I've used Michelin Pro4, Continental Grand Prix, Veloflex (my 2nd favorite), Vittoria Corsa CX and Rubino, Vredestein, Schwalbe, and others. The traction in corners is phenomenal. The grooved tread works well in rain. The comfort is very good, running 95-100psi in a 25mm tire on Campagnolo Bora One wheels. They are showing no wear yet and most amazingly there are no tread cuts, despite having ridden over numerous broken glass areas and a 175 mile gran fondo in the rain with a few gravel topped roads. The speed seems very good but I don't have numbers to verify that. I have found my new favorite tire.

Fantastic tyre

Was a Schwalbe One and Continental GP 4000 rider and race crits as well as commute. Not going back to either. This tyre rolls very fast and smooth, easy to fit, rides very supple, good puncture and cut protection after 1000kms. Corners and steers like my bike is a go cart. Sticks to the road in wet and adverse conditions and rough tarmac. Excels on corners, descents and flats. Excellent performance tyre and worth the money. Will buy again without any reluctance. Review is for the 25mm version.

Nice ride

These tyres gave me the best ride to date. I am not talking rolling resistance here, even though they feel super fast: it's how they ride that made a whole world of difference. At first I was skeptical to get "race" tyres for they would last not too long and would not add much benefit... I couldn't be more wrong. They've lasted already more than 4000 kms without punctures and I still have a some tread to shred. Supper grippy, they inspire confidence and they take a lot of road buzz when compared to other tyres I've used.

Vittoria Cors G+ Clincher tire

I had been using vittoria veloflex for the last 2 years. It was really great and gave me wonderful tire grip when I road a bicycle. This new tire is much more stable and resistant to puncture than Veloflex. It also provide much better mileage due to its new G+ technology. If you consider new tire, this will be the best option for you. Get it for your bike!

I am cant say that i noticed the morphing claims during riding straight and cornering but they are fast and they are comfortable to ride on - a combination not always achievable. Although ive only ridden 150km on them they show no signs of wear and no cuts. I think they look great too. They are expensive but given the claims of hardiness made, i dont expect to be buying any more for a little while.
