Pro 4's
5I've been using the 25mm Michelin Pro 4 Race Service Course Clincher Road Tyre for 6 months and get 5000km out of a pair. I buy 4 at a time and switch the front to the rear when it's time to replace the rear. In 6000km this year I've had only 1 flat with latex tubes. The reduction in vibration is very noticeable, 90 psi rear 85 front. The cornering is great and the ride on gravel roads is much more stable.

Old Faithful
5Love these tires. Great grip, very good longevity, and they're easy to get on and off the rims, particularly important when rushing to put in a new tube after a flat on the road.

Short Life Span
1I bought these tyres as they were on offer at the time, but I have since learnt that this was a costly mistake. Yes they are light, yes they look great but they just dont last very long. Having had these tyres on my bike since the start of the road season, I have only covered approx. 1000 miles on them, but they have already started to split at the edges of the tread. I always deflate the tyres after use and I am annoyed that they are an expensive tyre to last only three months. I also had some Lithion 2's at the same time for my training wheels and these have gone the same way and I have punctured several times on a scale that I have never suffered with other tyres. Needless to say I will be reverting back to Conti's for the remainder of the season and not touching Michellin tyres with a barge pole in future.

sidewall weak
3The Michelin Pro 4 Race Service Course Clincher Road Tyre are fast and comfortable but at less than 500kms the tyre is shot on the sidewalls. It's a shame! The tyres are still round and pointy.

Gets cut easily - 2 tires already rendered useless
1
I'll try to be concise here:
Ordered 2 tires and on the first 7 miles I got one tire cut from the center to the side wall (down to the fabric). I was upset, but again, it could be just bad luck right? Decide to buy another replacement, after 400 miles I got a blowout, there is a whole on the sidewall rendering the tire completely useless this time. Not going for the forth tire, I guess I learned the lesson. Throughout the 400 miles ridden I got 4 flats.
Facts: 700x23 tire, bike+rider combined weight 230 punds, road condition : some debris, but clean for the most part; Pressure as per recommendation max (8bar = 116 PSI). Flat and straight roads, no aggressive cornering.
The tires didn't feel more supple than my Vittoria's, neither faster, perhaps a little bit more sluggish, but I mind just be biased here. However the grip is par to the Vittoria's, very good on cornering! Buying now a Hardshell Gator, at size 700x25 on the rear. Let's see how it rolls!

Favorite clincher of all time
5
Rolls fast and quiet. Exceptional cornering - even better than the Pro3. Easier to mount on rim than the Pro3, as well. Nice, thin sidewall renders a supple ride. Unlike Conti's which one can liken to riding on a mid-90's clincher.
Funny how others will slam a tire, just because they got some puntures. Try not riding over debris and then clean the inside of the tire post-flat.

Excellent service
4Ordered the wrong size tyres and tubes, Doh!, returning and getting replacements was a doddle, 5 day turnaround from me sending to receiving the correct stuff. Faultless service, very pleased indeed and will shop at PBK again

Michelin are My Favourites
5Tyres, let's face it they can be a hit or a miss. Compare to car tyres they are pretty damned expensive too so once you think you have your best compromise I would stick to it. I have used Continental, other folk swear by them, but I hated them. Constant punctures. I didn't like the feel or the roll of Vittoria Rubinos and although I liked the the Schwalbe Ultremos I found they also cut quite easily and were prohibitively expensive. That's why I have always came back to the Michelin Pro series in their various guises as I love their puncture resistance and handling. Time will tell how well these wear as I found the Pro 3 didn't last as long as I would have liked. If the manufacturer claims are correct then they should be fine. They seem to have come down in price a lot too from when they were first made.
