Does the Job

The brush works well for its intended purpose of cleaning sprockets and hard to reach areas. I think there are perhaps lower-cost alternatives, but you can't go wrong with Park Tool.

Replacement part

I purchased this item to replace the brush from the Park drivetrain set. That brush wore out way too quickly. Still, when new / clean, this brush can't be beat. It cleans my cassette very efficiently. Would definitely recommend!

works so well

I used to dismount my cassette when I wanted to clean it: worked A1, but was time consuming. With this tool, I use it once in a while to get the small pieces of dirt that accumulated in these spots that are unreachable with a simple cloth. I still dismount the cassette to clean it, but I have to do so less often!

can be useful...but

Good for brushing things out of the splined together cogs on larger MTB cassettes...but a rag will do just as good a job on 90% of occasions
