Does the job

Bought this from Probikekit nearly a year ago now. Great to be able to give the chain a pretty good clean without removing from the bike.

I usually run the chain through more times than stated: I will run it through until degreaser is very black and most degreaser gone/split, then remove, refill with degreaser and start again. You should hang on to the cleaner with one hand if you are turning the crank with gusto and changing gears (in which case some degreaser will spill onto the floor so place rags underneath). A few bristles are coming off the brushes but no big deal. I wash the machine in warm, soapy water in the laundry and leave to dry after its done its job: when my bike was really dirty and the bristles caught lots of grime I also wiped the bristles with a rag + degreaser to clean (worth it).

Supplied degreaser seemed to work well, and now use a cheap hardware store degreaser in the machine with no issues. Haven’t yet used the lube – but will take the advice of the earlier reviewer (Razor).

Can't ask for anything more.

This is a great buy. I found that the cleaner/tool works well (just make sure you hang on to it when your running the chain through) and easy enough to clean once you’re done using it. (You can actually remove the brushes, let it soak in a small bowl of degreaser or, in my case since I wasn’t too particular, just hot water and dish soap).
The degreaser provided is sufficient for one cleaning and effective enough for my need. I would highly recommend getting an extra bottle though and something stronger if your chain needs the extra attention.
“A little goes a long way – is the comment that comes to mind regarding the lube. There’s more than enough lube I found to do your bike 10 times over. So make sure when you cut the lube open, that you have a container to pour it into. I used an old medicine bottle with a dropper...so this made the lube application easier. I’ve use the lube for the majority of the moving components on my road bike with no issue.

It does a very good job and its easy to use, but don't forget to buy a can of degreaser.
