ISM Century Saddle.

Bought this seat some weeks ago and have done a 51 mile quick ride with it which went well, no more numbness but still though it's not quite right yet, so I lowered the seat slightly and brought it forward and then did a 30 mile ride and I would say it's just about right now ,you have to give the seat time and tweak as you go along, the only gripe I have is after two rides the logo is peeling off the top and sides apart from that I would recommend it.

Well made Yes, Covering Lycra seems tough, Padding is firm, Design is radical but logical. Over a 100 mile rides my long nose saddle is better for less chaffing of the thighs but worse for numbness in the privates. So that's the Choice. Talking about saddles means talking about what kind of riding you do and the pain you wish to relieve through the saddle "design" I bought this because I ride 200 miles a few times each summer and have never had a fully "comfortable" experience. My Goal is to ride 300 miles so I bought this saddle to ride on for 2015 This does relieve the frontal pressure that causes numbness in your privates. The blood flows better in my experience and that's a good thing. IT WORKS on that count. Up to 60 mile rides. Good. Its called the Century BUT I reckon up to 60 miles its a good saddle comfort wise. But there is a But..... after 60 its shortcomings become more pronounced and my comfort diminishes. After 60 mile rides It is too wide at the front this caused a chaffing that resulted in saddle sores despite every precaution. I will persevere with this saddle for my longer rides, but cant see how I can truly solve the problem. See below. It is a little too short despite the Adamo setup instructions indicating that its really a saddle with the "nose" cut off and you sit on your sit bones. Setup wise this is difficult to achieve and you still get chaffing in the grooves of your thigh due to the width. I have done lots of fiddling out on the road with seat angle and fore aft position as well as minor adjustments to seatpost height. You will have too also if you want to achieve Nirvana on this saddle. I also reckon that if I do get this sorted it will be the best saddle I own and that is worth all the Pfaffing

This thing really works! A huge improvement for me and no more problems with genital numbness or blood flow issues. I highly record this saddle for anyone with wide sit bones. Excellent product.

I have wide hips and have always had issues with numbness and discomfort in my private parts. This ISM Adamo Century saddle has been awesome; better comfort overall and no numbness issues in my important areas!! I recommend you check these out if you are having issues like I did. GOOD LUCK!

Finally the right saddle?

I had tried other Adamo saddles before, but always found them great on the drops, not so great when on the hoods. The century is different. It took a couple of longish rides (65 - 80 miles) to get my undercarriage used to it, but I've ridden a 128 mile audax on it a couple of days ago and only felt a tad uncomfortable on the last 10 miles (which is to be expected). So, I can highly recommend this saddle in terms of comfort. Only not sure about the cover and its durablility - time will tell.
