I haven't used them yet but they are the same as my old ones- good.

Great Cleats

I was using the SH51 cleats when I had my accident. I couldn't unclip fast enough when I had to make a quick stop. With the multi-directional release cleats (SH56), unclipping is much easier and natural. I would recommend these to anyone who is nervous about clipless pedals.

multi release cleats

Great cleats for someone new to clipless shoes. Release much easier than single release making it safer for a beginner learning to use cleats.

They work.

Needed 2-bolt cleats when I bought my touring bike and they work. Not much else to say. Good quality from Shimano.

Great cleats!

These cleats are very durable as they are made completely out of metal unlike the SPD-SL and Look cleats. They have lasted me the longest. They even work on my gym's Keiser M3 which is a definite plus.

Good contact, hard wearing, crummy mud clearance

4

This pedal system is fundamentally flawed when it comes to clearing mud; it just doesn't do it. It is not a mud pedal/cleat, so leaving that short fall aside.

These lock in well to the SPD mountain pedal & commonly fit the spinning bikes at the gym.

The metal is very hard wearing & lasts for a very long time. Be careful though, they will perforate your lovely hard wood floors if you wear your bike shoes through the house.
