Great quality pedals for the price! 100% recommendation! Be aware that Canadian customers will wait 2-3 weeks for delivery. Great service and delivered what I had expected!

Great pedals! Love the big platform. Take a little getting used to clipping in but got over that fast.

Superb!

This is my second set of the R540 pedals and the only reason I changed them was because of the color. Th silver looked better than the old white ones with my silver 105 Compact Crankset. I have over 2000 miles on the previous ones and they worked flawlessly. Maybe not as light as the more expensive ones but they do the job.

I already had a pair of these in black but as my new bike has a silver campag groupset I wanted a set of silver pedals to go with it. As i've had no problems with the previous pair I decided to stick with them. They're not the lightest pedals in the world but at the level I ride at (weekend club runs and sportives) they do the job perfectly.

A decent number 2 pedal that I use when I rent a bike for traveling.

cheap and reliable pedals

I have been using these pedals for two years and they have worked perfect without needing any kind of maintenance (apart from changing the worn out cleats a couple of times). The release tension is easy to adjust using an allen key and you can use either fixed cleats or with float. The only small problem is the one-sided entry (compared to speedplay or mtb pedals), but in a road pedal it's not that important after all.
All in all, a very reasonably priced set of pedals that will work great, though it might be worth it to choose the 105 version considering the small difference in price.

Great value and solid performer for the winter - 4.5/5 stars

The cleats are very easy to secure tightly on the shoe using Allen headed screws and the tough, slip-proof material feels safer when walking on hard surfaces than the other 'hard shoe' systems.

"Adjustments to entry and release tension are made using an Allen key and they are exceptionally smooth and easy to use."
