Worth the extra

Cheaper cables are ok but disposable and need changing more often, shimano stainless steel seem to last longer with less chance of rust than cheaper cables

Great reliable gear Cables

This are shimano cable but this one has an special treatment to be rustfree and slide better. This is an reliable shimano product that I can recommend. Maybe you can find with even better performance about the slide efect if you go for one of that black coated with teflon but maybe twice the price... And I think it does not worth the double or triple of the price. Is better to have cheaper and replace more often. What is very important also is the cable housing.... there are a lot of them but I haven't bought any from this store.

a cable for all seasons

Original Shimano cable, works with road and MTB shifters. Campagnolo has a smaller barrel so use the right one. Stainless means it shouldn't go rusty like cheapo cables do.
