Better than old

It's a big step up from their last iteration. Good price too compete with the KMC and the connector pin was pretty easy to install.

Outstanding chain

Only chain I have used on my Kuota Kebel. I usually get about 6000 Km per chain....although I must admit I do not do a lot of hills. Best buy for a chain....and of course I always buy it here at PBK.

Best Price, Best Performance and Max Durability

Been riding Shimano for 40 years and have always combined my Dura Ace cassette/cranks with an Ultegra chain. The Ultegra chain provides great performance characteristics with the Dura Ace componentry (quiet, slick shifting, etc..) and does not stretch or breakdown as quickly as the Dura Ace chains. Broken many Dura Ace, KMC and Sram chains on competition bikes but not the Ultegra on my training and personal racing bikes. The slotting and proprietary inside/outside linking of Ultegra 6701 has improved shifting without affecting durability. For the money (and the +10g), the Ultegra 6701 is the BEST chain for the money.

Above standard chain, not as durable as SRAM

I've been riding 10 speeds for work every day in Minneapolis. This chain went on my bike in June, and was done by August. It was rather hard to put on with the first place; I prefer SRAM's powerlinks. The reason I gave it four stars is because it is above the standard of chains. It shifted well, and cleaned well. The durability is not as good as some of the higher end Sram chains that I have ridden.

Fantastic chain for the price

I run this chain with a dura ace groupset, and I have found that it shifts and adapts perfectly.

I cant notice the weight difference between this and the dura ace chain and wear wise I only got 200km less with this chain, than the dura ace one. Though the conditions I was riding in may have impeded on the length of wear.

All in all a great chain that I would recommend for anyone looking to save some extra cash and put towards something else.

Best chain for the money. It wears really well. makes the drive quiet and the shifting is crisp. Also the price is always better on this than big brother Dura ace. I highly recommend this chain. This chain also works very well with Sram Force cranks.
