New cassette for old legs

I bought this cassette to replace the close ratio one on my race bike that retired in 2012. Usual Shimano quality and speedy delivery mean that I know have a chance of climbing the steeper hills.

I recently bought two of these Cassets from ProBikeKit and after only a month or so of use both are completely rusted. I have had the same Ultegra and Dura Ace Cassets on both my road and TT bikes for years with no issues. I decided to rebuild the drive train on both and have had both cassets rust out on the same timeline with the same quality care, (no water, and I haven't even had a chance to wash the bikes yet since they have not been ridden but a couple hundred miles) It is really strange I would say. it is almost as if these are fake Shimano Cassets the way they rusted through so fast. I will be putting my originals back on.

Got a good deal on this from ProBikeKit.com Got the chain to go with it too. Never misses a shift up or down. Only used Di2 on a hire bike but got to say there's no difference between Ultegra 10 Speed Cassette and chain and the Di2 setup. Very happy with it and a fraction of the cost of Di2.
