I bought this top for 3 days of cycling in the Scottish Highlands in late summer along with a pair of nanoflex arm warmers. The forecast was for heavy rain and showers and it was pretty accurate! I ended up wearing the top every day as it was perfect for days with mixed weather. Whilst not quite as breathable as a regular jersey it is much more breathable than a regular rain jacket and you don't need to faff about to keep taking it on and off like you do a jacket. That said I did use a Pocket Liner jacket for the torrential downpours for added weatherproofing. The temperature varied between about 12 and 16 degrees celsius for my trip and I guess this is probably the top end temperature range before the jersey is too warm. This is a fantastic garment and I expect it to become one of my most favoured items in my cycling wardrobe.
