Hi there. I've bought those mk3 for my road (race) bike. I wanna add some notes I hope would be useful. 1. I had forks with smaller distance between legs than was designed for mk3. Some people suggest to cut or sand out fenders in order to fit. I used hot air (soldering air gun, but you may use every industrial air gun) to make them softer and adjust the shape. It was a good idea, because the fenders kept their original stiffness. I also kept the front nose (many people throw them away). What I had to cut off was the small lover part of rear fender (as suggested on the product box) 2. I barely fit fenders to 25 tyres. Hence I am a bit sceptical about bigger wheels. 3. Velcro was good. You really have to properly clean the surface for them. 4. Attaching mk3 takes some time coz the clearance is tiny.
First, well designed and constructed. The weak point for attachment (if any) isn't the "duotec" (rock solid once attached ... in fact takes effort to detach) but the adhesive layer between the "duotec" and the bike frame. That said the adhesive is quite strong. The claimed maximum tire width of 35mm is optimistic. While technically the fenders are (mostly) wide enough to block spray from 35 mm tires, the front of the front fender and centre section of the rear are much narrower. Also on one bike with 35 mm tires (Trek Domane Gravel) there wasn't enough tire clearance to fit the rear fender (the outside edge rubbed on the tire), On another (Trek Checkpoint), again with 35 mm tires, the fenders fitted, but the hydraulic disk brake hose running down the inside of the left leg of the front fork made it necessary to trim the "duotec" pad and the plastic of the stay. I have chosen not to use the brush pads (supposed to go between rim and fender) since they won't work with the wide tires. The protective pads provided don't appear to have any use so were ignored. That said, the fenders are on and appear quite solid. I haven't yet tried in wet conditions so can't comment other than to say they will likely provide at least moderate protection. I had hoped to be able to quickly attach or remove the fenders but that won't be quite as simple as I had hoped. All that said, subject to longer term confirmation, I'd give these a conditional recommendation, particulalry at the sale price I paid.
I was looking forward to the Mk3 as I've had a couple of the Mk2s before. The Mk2s were finicky to fit without some wheel rub on my Colnago road bike but once fitted worked a treat. I couldn't for the life of me get these to fit properly with 23mm tyres and the velco fixing adhesive is no where strong enough. These are now sitting on my bench and I'm considering throwing them out. In an effort to make these easy to install and remove, Crud has taken a backwards step with the Mk3s. Maybe they're great on a CX bike with plenty of wheel clearance but I wouldn't recommend them for road bikes.
I put them on my Davidson TT cyclocross bike in the fall and commuted all rainy winter through spring, about 2700 miles. They function pretty well despite a strange rear fit owing to my tiny rear triangle with very low angle seat-stays and having a pully on the seat tube for my front DR with top-run cables. I did have to jury rig a bit with scissors and a bit of zip tie on the seat tube to fit my odd little bike. I had been running a seat-tube mounted MTBR type paddle, these are much much better on the back of legs and mechanics. Because of my low-angle seat stays the rear of the mudguard doesn't go down very far over the back of the rear tire so I do get a bit of a rooster tail as with the paddle so don't draft me in the rain. Also, the flexi nature allows some drops to sneak by but not horrible. The front extension is a joke so I augmented with glued plastic. The drop down the back of the front wheel is perfect. One thing I really like is that I can easily fine tune the spacing to fit any tire I use (28mm to 33mm road and knobbies) to minimize toe-strike, a real problem on my bike particularly with standard mudguards. That super velcro is crazy stuff, works very well. I wish the packaging came with extra to replace as I expect it will wear or come off eventually. One-size can't ever truely fit all so I do wish they made a couple different lengths and 'forms' to better suit. One does have to fiddle a bit to get it perfect. But they are overall quite functional, looks good (I think), reasonably easy, super light. I like them a LOT better than the MK2 I had on another bike which I ditched.
I have these on my GT grade gravel bike. The fit is a bit tight with 32mm wide tires and I have some minor rubbing when travelling on uneven or bumpy surfaces. However I'm still giving these 5 stars for their ease of installation and overall great design. They look great and work even better. I would recommend these to everyone with 35mm wide tires or smaller.
I had this product and from the beginning I didn't like this gleu way to install it.. My bike doesn't have a flat space to put that gluing tape on.. Because of this I couldn't fix it how it should be... Too bad.. After few months I just could buy new set because tape was not strong enough anymore...
These are SUCH A Disgrace compared to the MK2's. I was like a Bible thumping lunatic telling my friends how great the MK2's were... They were a gift from above, absolutely incredible on a road bike they maid rain riding completely bareable. They were amazing. I broke one of those and of course now you can't get those any more. So, after scouring the market looking for something more appealing than velcro on my bike... I finally went for these. They're an absolute disaster. I can't tell you about rain coverage because they are not even close to fitting on my bike. I'm talking about a Cannondale SuperSix... Not even close to fitting. WHAT A FAIL. I'm glad these were oy thirty bucks. Whats the return policy on these? They're awful and it was a mistake to buy them. If you're a recreational gravel rider then you probably wouldn't want to train through wet weather anyway so... I'm not sure why you'd want these but gravel riders with disc brakes these might for your bike if you can tolerate velcro on your bike. Any way these are horrible and if you get them you'll know what I mean. Please please please take my advice and save your money.

Since not a single frame is identical to another there is no perfect solution for everyone. These muguards (fenders) may be perfect out of the box or they may need some cutting or customization or they may just not fit. As long as you frame has enough space for the Duotec (Velcro) attachment of the fenders (mudguards) on the inside of the seat stays and fork without interfering with the spokes, you can install them. However, you may have to cut them and sacrifice some protection if there is not enough clearance due to frame shapes and tire size. But, you'll still have some good basic protection. However, these fenders allow for great flexibility and customization. If you are willing to invest time and the of use of handy hands, tools and a little grey matter, they can become the perfect solution. Before buying go check videos on YouTube (search for "Crud MK3"). You'll have a better understanding of the pros and cons with regards to your bike and your own limitations (time, hands, tools or grey matter). To me, they are perfect.
I saw these on GCN and thought I'd try them. Directions for installation were clear. I've installed them on a Cannondale Synapse Alloy, with calliper brakes and 25mm. tires. There are no clearance problems and installation is straight forward. Not sure if they would work with 28mm. tires (tyres).
