Decent battery lifetime. Very bright, though not that much brighter than the older Cateye Rapid X I had before (nothing wrong with the old one, just gave it to my daughter). Bought it because I really want to be seen in the autumn/winter conditions, when people drive in semi darkness but still think it's a good idea to text/catch Pokemons while participating in the traffic. I have always had good experience with Cateye products.
