Incredible tires!

Fantastic tire. Really unbelievably nice ride. My preference is to run Veloflex's 23c tubulars - like Criteriums - but these handle equally well, with a smooth ride and grippy handling. These measure an accurate 25c width with my calipers. Also, the listed mileage proves accurate, with the potential to exceed that number for the front tire. Remarkably cut-resistent for a relatively soft rubber. With the latex tubes' self-sealing trait, slight punctures do not result in complete loss of pressure. Buy & use with confidence.

Veloflex Arenberg

This is my favorite tire. When I started using it, I felt less rolling resistance and more ease of acceleration and speed. Also, I am more confident going into corners, and riding on rough surfaces. This tire has given me more assurances than any I have ridden to date and I plan on buying it again as the need arises.

Excellent all-around tires

I've been running Veloflex Arenberg tires on my Zipp 303 rims for over two years now. I live in Northern California and while the suburban pavement is pretty good, the mountain roads are usually paved quite poorly and in some cases, not at all. I have taken the Arenbergs over everything, including rocky dirt trails at slow speed, highways paved with chipseal (small rocks) at high speed, and despite using them well beyond the recommended mileage, have gotten less than a handful of punctures. When they do puncture, Orange Seal works like a dream to get them back into action. I finally get rid of the rear tire when the tread has worn to the casing in spots. And the icing on the cake is that these tires are a breeze to mount. Continental tires take three men and a tire iron to put on, but these tires require just a little bit of pre-stretching and then slide on in about three minutes.

Italian hand made quality

Beautifully made tyre very supple casing and grippy rubber compound. Tan sidewalls look very retro (personal taste) and ride quality is excellent especially with latex tubes. Too early to judge puncture resistance but so far so good. More difficult to mount first time but worth the effort.
