The Strada LGG is a classic road tire featuring the traditional Clement chevron pattern for excellent grip in wet or dry conditions. Inspired by the legendary Clement Criterium Seta, the LGG provides a supple ride, durable yet lightweight construction, and puncture-protection belt under the tread.
The LGG is named after the airport code for Liege, Belgium, heart of the Ardennes and home of Liège–Bastogne–Liège cycle race, the oldest of the classics.

I like these tyres a lot. For me they strike the right balance between speed/weight and comfort/durability for UK roads. I found them very supple and comfortable, possibly due to the soft sidewalls. They do get cuts in the tread, but the puncture belt works - only had two flats during their lifespan. The 28's were nice and wide, and seemed to run well at low pressures. If only Clement made the 120TPI in tan wall!
Simply: The Strada LGG 120 tpi is the best tyre I have discovered so far ! It far out performs the likes of Conti GP's Vittoria Corsas, Paves and Rubinos. They are simply real world faster, more durable and puncture resistant (Proof) ! I race, train, TT and any other ride on these what ever the weather or surface. I run them at a slightly lower PSI (5-10PSI) than I would any other tyre in any given condition and they roll faster and grip like no other. I'm sold on these just because they do everything in one better than a specialist tyre does one job. You can't get more value for money than these when it comes to all round top flight tyre performance.
I used to use strada 66 tubulars which were amazing. The lggs are as good they fit easily and give a good firm ride. They grip well in the wet and ive had one puncture which did not cut the tread. Ive used the 23 and will buy some 25s for a spare set of wheels. I recommend these and are my tyre of choice
I thought I'd give these a try and have been very impressed so far. They felt a bit too supple at first; being used to stiffer tyres, but after a few hundred miles they really are superb - great grip and and very forgiving of our terrible roads. Will probably be the kiss of death now but no punctures so far which is pretty good going. As the other reviewers have said they are easy to fit which is an added bonus.
Looking at the specs these are a great value for the price. I've bought them before and liked them, went back to the same well but got different results this time. So what changed? I don't spend almost any time on pristine roads and trails anymore, instead changes in my routines have me hitting a lot more ruts, bumps and potholes. I don't spend much time on particularly bad roads and trails but these tyres really can't hold up to average street condition. They need smooth and clean paths, but average streets, bumpy trails and the occasional sidewalk have me constantly changing tubes and I don't think I've had one of these tyres even make it over 1000 miles before it had to be replaced. I'm out of extras now and it'll be time to find a different one.
Very straightforward to fit. No levers required, reasonable light weight plus fast rolling have them on my race bike had a spill second spin out on them not the tyres fault went in to a right hander to hot, car coming oyher way left me running wide into gravel and wet leaves so lost the front wheel..other than that would recommend, they come up somewhat narrower than some 25mm a good all round buy. quick service from probikekit so happy chappy
Put these on and went for my one-hour fast route earlier thIs evening. Love them already. First thing to say is how easy they were to fit. No levers needed, and a great snug fit. Noticably lighter and faster rolling than the Schwalbe Luganos that were on my bike before, likewise compared to the Conti GP 4S that I have on my other bike. It's when I put the bike into a few fast bends that I really noticed the difference. These tyres have such great grip and feel, I was able to get more out of my bike and had more confidence in my bike handling. Look great too with the retro logo and rainbow stripes!
These tires from just one ride out with the lads have them turning green with envy. It was clear from the first decent that the LGG's roll so fast! The grip and feedback makes you push harder and harder in the corner, you'll never feel the need to pick it up through the bends instead you'll find yourself sticking your knee out like Rossi to grab those extra few seconds. The extra width of the 25mm give me the comfort that the frame can't deliver and that my poor backside deserves. Good acceleration, sure footed in the climb and decent you can't go wrong and the price in fantastic you've no need to pay double!
I've been using Clement Strada's for several years now and have found them to be reliable, very puncture resistant and without compromising rolling resistance too much. As a guide I've done 10,000 miles in 2 years and had 3 punctures! Other brands get more press (Conti 4 seasons, Gator skins, Duranos) but these are cheaper and do a superb job.
