With full-channel comfort and advanced technology, materials and craft, Arione R3 Versus Evo is a performance road saddle for riders who want a flat saddle profile and a pressure relief channel.
Made for Snake riders with high body flexibility and no pelvic rotation while pedaling, the Arione is longer than any other fi’zi:k road saddle, flat from nose to tail and with a narrow nose, so you can move around to find your power spot. The Large model is the wider of our two options.
Arione R3 Versus Evo features a composite Carbon-reinforced nylon shell – with Wing Flex technology which enables flexibility where your thighs meet the saddle – and a light, strong, corrosion-resistant K:ium rail. A Comfort Core foam layer beneath the neat, durable Microtex cover provides comfort, which is enhanced by the full-length comfort channel that reduces pressure on the rider’s sensitive soft tissue and ensures that all weight is carried correctly on the sit bones.
Like all performance fi’zi:k road saddles, Arione R3 Versus Evo is light, flexible and agile. It's designed for pros, with pros and raced by pros. With full-channel comfort and advanced technology, materials and craft, Arione R3 Versus Evo is a performance road saddle for riders who want a flat saddle profile and a pressure relief channel.

Fi’zi:k is a racing brand. It represents beauty, speed, passion; freedom for those who race against each other, race against the clock and for enthusiast cyclists around the world who identify with the feeling of ‘the fire of competition.’ Established in 1996 as the premium racing brand for Selle Royal Group drawing on more than 60 years of saddle making experience. The aim since then until this day was to provide comfort and support for riders working with professional athletes to develop industry-leading products. All of Fi’zi:k’s saddles are still handmade in Italy.
The brand name comes from the phonetic spelling of the word ‘physique’ and the range focuses on the key contact points between the rider and the bike.

Not for me
Changed to this saddle after a lot of zwift over Christmas and I thought there must be something better than my old Selle italia. Thought it was going to be amazing. Can safely say it's not for me and no doubt will end up on ebay. I just can't get comfy on it. It has very little padding and feels like my sit bones are sat on a block of wood. It is also quite slippy. Pros arrived quickly and was a good price Cons it doesn't work for me.
Just as good but lighter than the VSX
I have used a Fizik Arione VSX for a few years and was excited to try out this new version. The R3 Versus EVO feels much lighter than the VSX. The finish’s “touch and feel” is not as nice as the VSX due to the exposed plastic/composite. After a few rides, I find that it provides similar support and comfort I get from the VSX.
