Great lightweight pedals at really good price. Delivered almost immediately.

R540 pedals and cleats

Well made pedals with good finish. Installed easily on bike and shoes. Easily adjusted to clip in and out as I like them. Reliable, but design makes them slightly less user friendly than my Speedplays. But then again they were 1/3 the price. Cleats are not slippery on hard surfaces and less likely to mar surfaces. Great addition to my training bike.

R-450 Pedals

I ordered these to replace a pair of Shimano 105 Aluminum pedals that were wearing out. These were the closest model to my old 105’s (I didn’t necessarily want (or need) to go to a carbon pedal on this particular bike). The quality of the pedals was actually a little better than my old 105’s, but my complaint on them is that this pedal has more “free” area (for lack of a better term) in them and I was getting more float than I wanted with these pedals (the included cleats are the same ones I already have). In comparing the 105’s and these R-540’s side by side there is noticeable difference in the width of the opening for the cleat at the front of the pedal. I measured the pedal on a dial caliper and it is 1/10 of an inch wider at the front -the width at the back was the same on both pedals. The additional width was creating the increased float that I was experiencing. I had an unused pair of the Shimano “fixed” cleats (SM-SH10) and installed those on my shoes and that took a tremendous amount of the float out and made the pedals much more comfortable to use. I would give the pedals five stars for the quality, but deducted one for the additional width.

Pedals are quite good for price only issue is pedals don't rotate to same position so you have to look to clip in. This may loosen off over time

Amazing pedals

These pedals are amazing, I have been using them for racing and have lasted a good year now. The cleats are very hard wearing so you will get a lot of use out of them! I am currently still using the first pair. Also it is great because you can adjust the tension on them, I had to increase it slightly just for the sprinting etc. Great pedals and highly recommend from Probikekit at this competitive price!

I had small steel mountain biking clips prior to this purchase. Both versions are fine however I find these clips much lighter and I am not as timid by walking through the house with the Shimano clips. Eventually it seems that the clips may be replaced however the pedals are much better than the other version that I once had.

An easy fitted pedal that comes complete with the clips for your cleets. They are only one sided tho so you do have to be careful when clipping in.

If you are looking for a good all around pedal. This is it. looks and feels just like the 105 version just a bit heavier. also the best part is if you are just starting out and you don't have the leg strength for a regular pedal your search is over. I would highly recommend it, especially if your just starting out.
