This kit comes with everything needed to replace gear cables on your bike. The inners were Campagnolo compatible, IE the barrel nipple was shorter then the Shimano/Sram type. There is plenty of outer cable, which you just cut to length for the bike. I machined the cut ends flat on a grind stone and opened the squashed inner with a sharp point. I have replaced the cables on my Campagnolo Chorus gears and found no difference from the Campagnolo cables to these, except the price. I also used this cable set on my Shimano XT gears and found these cables were just as good as the Shimano version and again cheaper.
