The Merrell Men's Moab Gore-Tex Hiking Boots feature a dura leather upper with mesh panels for optimum ventilation, whilst the Gore-Tex lining keeps your feet dry in downpours. Boasting a bellows tongue which keeps debris out, the Merrell boots also have breathable mesh lining with M-Select Fresh treatment to prevent odour.
With a compression moulded EVA foot frame for optimum cushioning, the boots also have a Merrell air cushion in the heel which absorbs shock and improves stability. They're set upon a durable Vibram® outsole with a 5mm lug depth for excellent traction in wet conditions. - L.M.

Merrell boots
Only had them for a week but so far so good seem to be splash proof at least,haven't immersed them in water as yet. Good comfy fit that doesn't take a lot of wearing in.

great boots
Bought my first pair of Marrell Moab's just over 2 years ago, While they are now showing signs of wear and tear there've proven to be a very comfortable, light, robust, hiking, cycling and general walking boots for Australian conditions. I'll be trying to get another couple of more months service out of these before I retire them and the new ones, just purchased from Probike, come out of the box and into action.
