Garmin deliver again
I've always been fond of Garmin. Firstly this appears a very well constructed watch, it has a very solid substantial strap and obviously with all the GPS & wireless circuitry the watch itself is quite large but still the size of a normal albeit chunky watch. The swipe touchscreen takes a bit of getting used to but is easy to use, the more robust you are with the screen the better it responds. The HRM is also quite a robust item but still very comfortable across the chest. The instructions advise it takes about 30-60 seconds to find a satellite and it does take roughly this amount of time its much quicker if your outside whilst the watch is doing its searching! It takes a fair bit of getting used to the various pages on the watch & setting up but is not particularly complicated. It comes with the Ant+ USB stick for uploading your workouts wirelessly to Garmin Connect and the process of installing on your computer is also a straight forward affair. All in all delighted with my upgrade.
