Lotto has a long history in the Pro Peloton first arriving as Tönissteiner-Lotto-Mavic-Pecotex in 1984. Since then they have become a team packed to the rim with talent and year upon year they achieve a large number of podium finishes.

From break-away specialists to sprinting legends, Lotto Belisol racked up 28 victories in 2012 including 3 stages of the Tour de France and a stage in the Giro d’Italia. Without any major changes to the team roster for this season it is likely that Lotto will continue to thrive and remain a strong presence in the peloton.

Lotto Belisol will begin their 2013 campaign at the Tour Down Under and by the amount of quality riders in the team they are serious about winning.

Team leader and sprinting master Andre Greipel will lead the bunch after an astonishing  22 first place finishes in 2012 including stages 1,3 and 6 of the 2012 Tour Down Under. This season his form is good and he may be looking for an overall win.

Aussie man Adam Hansen will join the group in their race to the finish as the team’s domestique. Adam is the second ever Australian cyclist to complete all three grand tours in one season and his experience as a professional cyclist is something that gains him plenty of respect.

Jürgen Roelandts is an impressive rider with a large amount of experience. He is mainly at the Tour Down Under as support to the team captain but is capable of winning stages himself as he has shown in the past when becoming 1st overall at the 2012 Tour de l’Eurometropole.

As the temperature in Australia heats up, Lotto Belisol look cool and calm. The experience of the team is something that translates into victory and as 2013 rolls on you can be certain to see plenty of the Lotto boys on the top of the podium.
