Reliable Value Crankset
Bought this crankset to put on my back-up/training road bike. It is well-made and the 2-piece construction has a clean design. Although it is heavier than top tier Shimano components, it operates flawlessly and is exceedingly durable. I have a Tiagra crankset on my commuter and it has given me solid, trouble-free performance for over 2 years through all weather conditions and surfaces. I expect the same from this one as well. Also, you can't beat the probikekit price.

Worthy upgrade
After thousands of commuting kilometres my 15 year old Ultegra chainrings have taken on the appearance of a school of sharks. The replacement Tiagra crankset and matching BB were simple to install and perform flawlessly, even with a 9 speed drivetrain (including 9s Shimano chain).
