Very smooth operating chain-paired up with a new ultegra cassette and the result is super slick shifting. Brilliant shimano quality as ever. Great value at this pbk price.
Probike Kit as usual top service great pricing and delivered just when I needed it before my Gran Fondo event Shimano (just spot on as always)
Good product at a good and affordable price, so much so I bought two.
Standard Shimano quality... Excellent performance and great value!!!
Used them before - will continue to use them. No issues and wear well
Feels very light, runs sweet and very good price. Thanks
Great product at the right price from Pro bike kit
very good chain, 3rd one I have used, good for at least 2500miles+ Very light, slick gear changes, and strong no problems with snapping links (as I have had with others makes). Good bit of kit well recommend perfect price to boot what more do you want.
I find that this is a great chain. I use the Ultegra chain as the rest of my running gear is Ultegra. This is the third one I have bought and never have any trouble with them. I join the chain with a KMC reusable link. Usually take the chain off after several rides and clean it in cleaning fluid as well as the running gear. As the cost is so little (good price at PBK) I normally change the chain after 1000 miles. As said never have any trouble with them.
A massive improvement on the 105 chain I bought a few months ago. The Ultegra chain is smooth and silent and made my old Ultegra group set feel almost new! Well worth the money.
It connects my cranks to my pedals , shifting is perfect and its shiny!!! At Probikekits price why buy anything else.
you never go wrong with Shimano products - high quality high functionality
Great service as always from pro-bikekit this chain is superb!strongly made and way better than the kmc ones i used to use which are too thinly made in my opinion and dont stand up to the battering i give them when doing hill repeats! The shimano chains do everything i want them to do and great price too. I highly recommend them!
This chain is very good product and good price. But, some chain looks like opened before.
Upgraded from the Shimano Tiagra chain that came with my bike and have to say I have noticed the difference in the groupset. Shifting is very smooth and gives a more efficient ride. Found breaking the chain link insert to be a pain and not giving a smooth break, i.e. a bit was sticking out. Can’t comment on how long it will last, but like anything, look after it and it will last.
Excellent chain at an excellent price, quick delivery too!!
Fine, the Ultegra chains seem OK amd very good price from here.
Does the job. ideal for a work bike thats road orientated. (25 miles a day). excellent value. *****
I use 105 set, but this is compatible with my bike and I felt good quality.
For me Shimano's Ultegra line comes closest to the sweet spot between price and performance. So far this chain has been in keeping with that belief. I can't speak to its long term durability (admittedly a key factor when reviewing a chain) but in all other regards I rate it very highly.
Plated, shifts well, lasts long, is not overly expensive...
Quick, simple and easy purchase.
Great product for the price. Bought to replace my chain that was looking a bit tired. Like for Like swap to keep me going. Would recommend ProbikeKit to any budding cyclist.... Great prices and service every time!
For a chain this is very light and flexible and is probably for the Dura-Ace I took off the bike.
Works briliantly. Smooth shifting.Great Price. What more do you need from a chain?
It is a pretty good price with good quality. I am satisfied by the products.
Good chain that would be better with a quick link. Great price though!
I have this groupset and it all works beautifully together so I keep chainset the same for reliable gear changes. I would recommend this to anyone.
Only chain I have used on my Kuota Kebel. I usually get about 6000 Km per chain....although I must admit I do not do a lot of hills. Best buy for a chain....and of course I always buy it here at PBK.
Been riding Shimano for 40 years and have always combined my Dura Ace cassette/cranks with an Ultegra chain. The Ultegra chain provides great performance characteristics with the Dura Ace componentry (quiet, slick shifting, etc..) and does not stretch or breakdown as quickly as the Dura Ace chains. Broken many Dura Ace, KMC and Sram chains on competition bikes but not the Ultegra on my training and personal racing bikes. The slotting and proprietary inside/outside linking of Ultegra 6701 has improved shifting without affecting durability. For the money (and the +10g), the Ultegra 6701 is the BEST chain for the money.
I've been riding 10 speeds for work every day in Minneapolis. This chain went on my bike in June, and was done by August. It was rather hard to put on with the first place; I prefer SRAM's powerlinks. The reason I gave it four stars is because it is above the standard of chains. It shifted well, and cleaned well. The durability is not as good as some of the higher end Sram chains that I have ridden.
Best chain for the money. It wears really well. makes the drive quiet and the shifting is crisp. Also the price is always better on this than big brother Dura ace. I highly recommend this chain. This chain also works very well with Sram Force cranks.
