XC7 Shoe Review
Rated 4 out of 5 based solely on fit, delivery and walking with them indoors. I am a 43 in many other shoes and these fit exactly as they should. They are light weight and the Michelin rubber in the midsole area of the tread will be fantastic for those moments of trying to clip in on the fly. The sole is stiff so it will be efficient but the little flex there is, coupled with the intelligent design of the lugs ensure this shoe will be equally efficient and comfortable in those moments where you are off the bike. The upper's perforations allow the foot to breath while the use of primarily one material improves durability, and the boa system very comfortably wraps the shoe nicely around the foot. The only thing stopping this review from being a 5 is a trail test but we are in the middle of a Canadian winter now so it will have to wait a few months.
Light and Airie
These shoes are so light and comfortable that I almost don't feel them on my feet when compared to my other Shimano MTB shoes. They are a very nice form fitting shoe that I feel holds up really well during my outdoor cyclocross events. They are such a nice looking shoe that I hate to get them dirty and will have to invest in some shoe covers before my next ride. Highly recommend purchasing them as I don't think you will be disappointed in their fit and design.
Great MTB shoe
I have used these a few times now and compared to my old MTB shoes they are very comfortable, and feel extremely secure while out on the tracks.
Quality shoe
I have 2 pairs of size 45 Shimano road shoes. One pair is loose so inserted footbed and the other very tight. These shoes fall into the very tight category. They are gradually loosening up and happy with them so far. Only 5 rides in them. Delivery took forever. 5 stars for the product one star for the slow processing of the order & delivery
