If you are looking for a fit the same as the original Mango bibs, this is not it. I have purchased many pair of the the Mango bibs over the years with much satisfaction but the Mango 2 bibs have much longer legs. If you are a taller rider with long legs you may really like them but if you are used to the original mango fit you will not like these.
The original Santini magos, which I also purchased from PBK, are the best bibs I've ever tried (a sample size of perhaps half a dozen shorts). I still use them, as the fit is excellent, the chamois is comfortable to the point it disappears during 2 to 3 hour rides, they look good and are hard wearing. If I had to quibble it would be over the fabric of the shorts, which looks like regular old lycra; functional rather than fancy. Oh, and I should probably have gotten a size bigger (I'm 6'2" and about 170 pounds and bought XXL), since they're a tad short and the grippers are a little tight. So I decided to give the 2.0 version a try, again in XXL since the XXXL is not available from PBK. The chamois is exactly the same, so no comment there. The fit seems to be the same too. The fabrics are a definite step-up, its hard to explain but they are softer, thinner, and seem to be more breathable. The extra $$$ are for these better materials, in my opinion it is worth it but your cost/benefit analysis will ikelydepend on your marital status more than anything. My only quibble now is the sizing. The original magos in XXL were slightly small, whereas these are slightly big. They feel a tad long on the legs (the grippers practically reach my knees) and the shoulders. I've only work them once, have to hope they shrink a little in the wash. But of course part of the reason for ordering the same brand and model, is predictability in sizing. Come on Santini, you can do better than that! Its the reason theae get "only" 4 stars... In summary: highly recommended despite somewhat unpredictable sizing.
