Very satisfied
4Amazing product with high quality material. Very satisfied but it fits small. I have 34 waist and ordered Large… it is tight for me! I believe XL would have been better!

5Bought 2 pair ( one blue, one black- the blue looks fantastic!) on sale. Usually wear a medium but with Castelli, I always size up. The large fit beautifully! Shorter on the thigh than other bibs, but compression is perfect all around and the padding and sham are comfortable on long ( 90km) rides. I would definitely buy again!

5This is a beautiful, well-made bibshort. Regarding fit, I am 175cm tall and 64kg -- the small fit beautifully. There's a bit of pull on the shoulder straps but that'll likely ease over a few months of use as there is a ton of stretch available. I like that it's snug, and it's really just right. I was blown away by how small this thing was wrapped up, as a cheaper company I was using before is still comparatively so bulky and heavy.

5I just purchased my third pair of these. I am 177cm and 78kg and the mediums fit perfectly. For what it’s worth when getting measured for a saddle my inseam was 84cm. These bibs are tight, but they are intended to be quite tight. I can’t imagine how some people are saying they are usually a small, but when ordering these they need a large. Yes, be careful when pulling them up. I tend to fold over the silicone band that holds the bib in place on the thighs as I am putting them on. Once on a ride they stay comfortable the entire time, although admittedly I have not gone out further than 120km in any of these bibs. Cheers!

5Have ridden several other brands but decided to go up notch and try the Castellis, the KISS pad is so good. The shorts are pretty small fit but are very nice when is use.

1I have written my review very recently on this Castelli Competizione Bib Shorts. I needed to change the rating to one star as the chafing is now unbearable even with the chamois cream. I noticed now that beyond the poor stitches of the pad, there is excess material that really irritates the skin. I expect a lot more from Castelli. My two pairs of non-bib shorts have never created chafing for me. This bib shorts will likely remain stored in my closet for years to come. Disappointed.

4This is my first bib short. I intended to write this review after 10 times of bike outing as most issues will appear after a few washes as well. I followed the size chart and XL just fits me well. Whenever it's my first time ordering from any brand, it usually follow their size chart. Different brand has different cut. The mesh straps are comfortable which was one of my concerns from switching to bib shorts. The leg gripper works very well. Material is smooth and appears not to be too thin. It stretches enough that it moulds to the skin. The seat pad is enough to providing comfort over 100 km ride, but not to big to be bulky. The reason for 4 stars rating is that from the last two rides the left size of the pad irritated my skin a bit. Not sure it is from the stitching.
