A slight squeeze
4First pair of Castelli bib shorts that I have purchased and I’m almost extremely happy with them. The chamois is great, I love the fact that there is no seam/joins in the construction like other brands, so it is really comfortable, I’ve only done a 80m trip with these and have to say no sore gooch!! However.... Castelli sizing..... I should’ve gone for xxl, I purchased xl and I am normally a large in other brands. I’m 5”10 (ish) and an average build. These are a little right around the lower back/hip region.... can’t return for obvious reasons. So a great bib but go up 2X sizes - trust me.

Castelli competizione bib shorts
5Great bib shorts and very comfortable. Make sure you size up. I’m 5’11” 28/30” waist, 73kg and I went for the XL size. They fit me great and are very comfortable. To put sizing into perspective I would normally be a Size small in the likes of 2xu tri shorts or under armour and Nike running shorts.

5Usual excellent Castelli quality on these superb bib shorts. Excellent fit once you allow for the skinny Italian sizes so make sure you order larger than normal ;-) Love the colour & design of these bibs with great padding/chamois perfectly suitable for long rides. No ride up on the legs or drop downs anywhere as the braces do their job superbly. Great piece of kit & highly recommended. A+
