Easy to drink and delicious. Gives the right ingredients for continued operations
Report this reviewVery nice taste and easy to eat on running or cycling.
Report this reviewThese gels taste nice, aren't too thick and most importantly the packaging design allows them to be taken while riding (some I've had seem to cut the sides of my mouth!). They provide a much needed boost.
Report this reviewEnergy gels are a commodity really, so there is not much I can do to describe the product, but I think the High5 range offer better value for money than SIS, so this is a good buy.
Report this reviewBeen using High5 orange flavoured gels for several years now as they are the only ones I find palatable. Good price made a great price. Cheers.
Report this reviewI received excellent delivery times and this is a great offer for the High5 Sports Energy Gel Plus.
Report this reviewI purchased High5 Sports Energy Gel Plus, it's a good deal but I experienced a problem with the delivery condition when they arrived so I raised a complaint. The issue was speedily rescued and to my satisfaction and I can't fault Probikekit for anything. Their response was to send a new pack of Gel and ship it swiftly! They even changed courier to help the issue. Thanks Probikekit!
Report this reviewIsogels are also available in a 'Plus' version, where the standard ingredients are joined by 30mg of caffeine. According to High5 website this will 'enhance performance and improve carbohydrate uptake'..... I have tested several sachets of standard IsoGel and Isogel Plus on some long rides, and they definitely work
Report this reviewDo they work? Yes, absolutely. I have used High5 Energy Gels on several long rides, and they definitely provided sufficient energy to keep me bowling along nicely. Most sports scientists agree that athletes can absorb a maximum of around 60g of glucose per hour, and that's illustrated well with these gels: on long sportives, after the first two hours, I find that one High5 Energy Gel, plus some carb-based drink, keeps me fuelled up for half an hour of fairly hard riding.....On a crude carbs-per-quid basis there are cheaper options out there from other brands, but the relatively small sachet size and the light texture of High5 Energy Gels might be preferred by riders who find the gels from some other manufacturers too big and thick to take all at once.
Report this reviewUsed these this weekend (Citrus) and they do what they say on the packet. Top product
