5Work perfect, I did 154 Km mostly climbing and hot weather, first time I used Clif and worked perfect , took one every 1 and a half hour with water and kept me in focus and energy. Good stuff

3Very convenient source of carbohydrate. Easy to get out of the packet (providing one cuts it open before the ride!) As they can be sucked or chewed it avoids having to take them at set intervals - ie when you've finished sucking one, start another one. I use them in conjunction with an energy drink to obtain an appropriate level of carbohydrates per hour while riding in races or endurance rides, as the packets are relatively small it is easy to carry them. However, they are FAR too expensive.

5these are the best i prefer these over GU - easy to access and no mess - before i go ride i always cut top off with scissors just make it easier at least for me

5I have been using these Clif Sports Shot Bloks for the last couple of years, love the way they are a gel as opposed to a liquid and have some caffeine added to give you a lift when you need it. No mess in the pocket from leaking gel, easy to eat and on the stomach. Just open and squeeze out the shot blok and chew, easy to do with one hand.

4Local bike shop recommended these over normal gels. And I quite liked them easy to eat not as messy as gels. Ive had sticky fingers from gels in the past which can be annoying. So I ordered a box as they workout quite expensive in single packs. The tropical flavour is nice and have a caffeine shot to aid which I felt made a difference. Overall good product would recommend.

4I ordered these shot bloks after cutting my lip on a gel pack ouch ! . The bloks taste a lot better than most gels and are less messy . The only major down Side to these bloks is the fact that all my mates seam to think I buy them for them all to eat .
