Castelli RoS jacket great fit and feel
5Despite warnings, I bought the size indicated by my measurements... it is snug sure but you would expect that for maximum aero benefit. I wondered what the zip vents on the sides were for... until I unzipped the front because I was warm. Opening the side vents reduced the tendency for an open jacket to balloon out, and improved air flow nicely in a comfortable way.

Sizing warning
1Genuinely lovely product but sizing is somewhat different from other brands. I am not a huge chap but the largest size available, XL was nowhere near capacious enough for me. I’m 6ft and 14 stone. If you’re anything beyond a 42inch chest you’ll struggle.

If you could only have 1 winter jacket this would be it.
50-6 celsius need 2 long sleeve undershirts. 6-12 celsius need 1 long sleeve undershirt. Good for long slow, rolling or high tempo work, doesn't seem to overheat. Typical Castelli sizing, so if you want a bit of room go up a size. Quality material, quality build, well worth the outlay.

fantastic Castelli quality but...........
4Jacket bought as a birthday present, outstanding quality and looks fantastic, but it was ordered using the “size guide” and still came in way too small - not only tight but short in the body too! I think the Castelli range is made with ultra lean pro-riders in mind and for average / club riders (I ride 4 > 500 miles a month) they need to be ordered at LEAST one size larger than the size guide indicates (I’m 5’7” 11.3 stone and need Ex. large - couldn’t get the large done up without fear of suffocation!!!) If you can get the size right - the quality simply will not be bettered and as always fantastic service from Pro Bike Kit too!!!

Awesome jacket!
5When you first put on the jacket it feels like it's going to fit tight then you realize it's got some nice stretch to it. It does fit snug however. I like it. My rides on windy 7-13 degrees Celsius days left me feeling this jacket will get me out more often in those conditions because I reside in a cocooned environment. Keeps all the wind out. Got caught in unexpected rain and it just beads and runs off. It is the perfect jacket for spring and fall.

great for British autumn / winter
5This is a great jacket, offering the cold and wind protection of the first two generation Gabbas, but now with a shower protection that works. Got caught in the rain the other day and it shed water like a hard shell goretex, but was breathing like a shoftshell still. Now just to see how long the finish lasts.. hardly dare wash it!
