Good buy
These are a snug fit and the silicone leg grippers are pretty aggressive, but the chamois and long distance comfort are phenomenal.
Outstanding chamois and compression
I really enjoy these bib shorts. They have a great chamois with plenty of dense foam on the sit bones. The compression is also excellent and that mesh back and straps keep everything in place very well. My only complaint is the small patch of fabric in the "frontal zone" that caused a bit of chafing where you don't want chafing. I only experience this on the first ride or two, so it may just be that the fabric needs to be washed to soften up a bit. I rode these on a 5 day tour where I rode 100-150 miles/day and never had saddle discomfort.
Comfy!
Other than the silicone leg grippers, I hardly felt them. They just felt right! Santini are my go-to bibs and this model did not disappoint.
