Great jacket
5Just wore it through its second consecutive winter. I can wear it with a merino baselayer below 0°C. The fit is excellent. Also pretty water resistant, as are the winter bib tights in the same series.

4I bought this to commute in as a replacement for a Gore Phantom that has seen better days. After 6 rides that varied from 2-9 degrees a short shower and mixed efforts I'm yet to find the right balance between being too cold or overheating in this jacket. It's clearly a high quality item with some nice touches.The windtex material is thicker than windstopper which boded well and the neck and wrist collars deserve a mention, rain simply beaded off the windproof front in a short shower. Three large stretchy pockets with a fourth zipped as a bonus at 6,3 and 71kg (tall and slim) I found the large to be a good fit, room for a couple of layers but not flapping around loosely when on the bike. It compares favourably to the Gore/Sportful and Castelli jackets I own at a much lower price. I feel the cold more than most and it's here that it falls short. The arms have a strip of thermal but non windproof material running the full length and this lets the cold morning wind in which quickly cools my core. Cover them with a shell problem solved. However when riding at pace (18-20mph) and at 7-8 deg the thicker fabric is simply not as breathable as windstopper. For those less sensitive to the cold this could be the perfect jacket, i remain to be convinced.

4I've been looking at these for a long while and finally ordered one at the same time as a Mavic softshell which was half price. Both arrived speedily. The quality of both was very high and the fit of the Elite was snug and I liked it. Once one it looked great, was stretchy and definitely would have been an ideal addition to my cycling kit ... but I could only afford one and the Mavic was a tighter race fit (the Elite was snug, but not quite as tight fitting) and had slightly longer sleeves which I preferred ... but most importantly was that the Mavic was bright yellow whereas the Elite being grey and white (whilst looking good - no doubt) just wasn't going to be ideal for commuting and those misty early morning Sunday rides. I guess most people will say "well you knew it grey" which is correct, but if it had been the right fit I might have attached some mini lights to it to brighten it. In summary, its a great jacket and great value at half price but the addition of a brighter version would make this top notch

5What can i say...I love the PBK product line..own almost all that PBK offers. This jacket is terrific, close fitting but warm, wind resistant, cuff at the wrist which is key in the winter, high collar, smart color scheme and easy to clean off winter grit. Buy it you will not be disappointed...

5Excellent jacket, went out in about 4 degree temp, really kept out the cold well and not hot and sweaty either after a couple of hours riding. I'm 5' feet 9" and 13 stone, large fits very well, would definitely buy this brand again.

5Great jacket. Good fit. I'm 6'0 and 11st ish and the M fits great. Worn once so far and is a good mix of keeping wind out but not giving the sweaty feeling when trying hard on a ride. Pockets very well sized and a good idea to have a zip pocket on the outside just fits an iPhone in perfectly. Need to get the matching Bib tights now.

5I'm very pleased with this jacket. With a mid weight undervest it has kept me warm on two cold November rides. I wear a bright coloured gilet for visibility but it is not needed for warmth. The fit is excellent - sufficiently close fitting and the sleeves are long enough to tuck under my gloves. I bought the medium size. I'm 5' 10" weighing 11.5 st.
