Excellent design front light
Great concept! The light and stem bracket are well made, and fix garmin on top makes it very tidy. Very reasonable brightness for nighttime ride. Equip with beam variable to save power is a great feature. Love it and I would buy again.
Much Tidier Front End
This light is fitted to the 4-bolt stem on my bike. Bought to be seen, not to see by. Prompt delivery from Probike and a competitive price. As regards the light unit itself, Plus points: Good light visibility on all settings; neat look to cockpit; securely holds my Garmin ; easy to clip in/out of the base fitment; no rattling; frees space on bars: easy to charge. Other points: No use on integrated stems; no camera attachment; adjusting settings mid-ride not easy; only 1 base unit. More than happy with my purchase; with a 2nd base unit, for easy switching between bikes, this would be a star but needs a camera mount to be perfect.
Excellent light with one limitation...
This light is great for illumination, visibility by oncoming vehicles and cyclists. Fits my G****n 1030 well. But it needs relatively 'forward/level facing' stem screws for the light and 1030 to be level with the ground. In changing the Moon MX from my old bike to a new bike/stem with downward facing stem face screws, the light and Garmin are pointing downward. Trying to think of a workaround....
Great Light - Odd Operation
This light with added cycling computer mount is exactly what I've been searching for. Asymmetry on my mount doesn't sit well with me, so I've only ever put my old light on when I knew the riding circumstances would warrant it. (Much to my better half's chagrin and concern about daytime lighting.) The various settings and 2x types of lights, makes this perfect for all situations in MY riding world. Brightness, visibility, etc. all fit my bill. The 2 button operation takes some getting used to. There have been some hasty moments before rides, that I've gotten a little flustered getting the light on. Despite its oddities, this light is a worthwhile purchase and I would definitely recommend it. Safe riding!!!
