Good bar tape

This is my favourite bar tape. Unlike the other reviewer, I thought it was very easy to apply, especially as it has the holes on it to line up the amount of overlap perfectly.
I use the white bar tape and it is very easy to clean compared to other brands of white bar tape on the market.
It is thinner than cork bar tape, but if you don't need the shock absorption, then it's great.
Firm tape; easy to keep clean

I usually find that cork tape can be a bit too soft and doesn't always offer the best grip. I found the Fizik Microtex Tape to be nice and firm giving you a good feel for the road. If you like a lot of padding I would not suggest this tape unless you double tape your bars or use a gel insert.
The myriad of available colours is great if you're trying to match the tape to a bike or kit. The tape is also very easy to clean so your tape will almost always stay clean.
There is a difference between some of the colours. I've used the black, grey and silver. The black has a suede texture which provides and excellent grip but does absorb water. The silver and grey, along with most of the coloured ones have a glossy texture, which keeps them clean but at the same time makes them a bit slick in the grip.
Durability is very good. For me it lasted twice as long as my cork tape.
