I've logged 800 miles on the new component set and all seems very predictable with one noteworthy exception: these brakes are excellent, well modulated and easy to control, a clear improvement over the old Ultegra set which served me over the past 5 years and 67,000 miles. As for the rest, it's great as I would expect from my past use.

Couldn't be happier with the purchase! The Shimano Ultegra 6800 11 Speed Groupset is amazing. So light and sleek looking. I installed most of the parts myself and found it quite simple with the enclosed instructions. Once installed I couldn't believe the accuracy of the shifting and the great feel from the brakes. Thanks Shimano and Probikekit.

I'd never ridden a 11 speed groupo prior and was amazed at the response and ease of shifting. I think and feel this is as good as my dura ace 7900. The mere fact that the gear ratio is incremental, there hardly a noticeable shift when you are exhausted.

The new Ultegra group is great value and nicely engineered. Be warned front shifting is quite different to setup than previous 10sp, and your advised to read the Shimano service bulletin for tips. google: DM-FD0002-03 All cables and cable ends included in the kit but I had to source some inline shift cable barrel adjusters and an extended caliper pivot nut as the supplied one wasn't long enough for my carbon fork.

Dont buy Dura ace

These are just as good as dura ace, just minus the bling factor. The Ultegra groupset is much cheaper then the Dura ace and they function just as good. Ultegra is the best bang for your buck, you will not be disappointed.

Exactly what I wanted

I ordered this group to update an older Trek bike that had a 105 group on it. I'm still in the build phase, but really looking forward to getting on the road. The buying experience was great, price was best I found anywhere and delivery was on time and packaged as needed.
