Monitor your pedaling cadence and/or speed as you ride with these easy-to-install wireless sensors.

Simply attach the sensors and ride. With no magnets or other exposed parts to line up, these sensors are easy to install, maintain and move between bikes.

The cadence sensor fastens to any crank arm size and measures pedal strokes per minute so you can get the most out of your training.

The speed sensor attaches to the hub of either wheel and self-calibrates with your Edge® to give you accurate speed and distance at all times, including indoors on the turbo trainer.

Combine them both and improve your personal best or see where your stand against the pros.

Knowledge is Power

I am new to the bike world. Decided that getting into fresh air from the gym was for me. Running was no longer an option (knees gone) and fell in love with a spin bike experience, although had not, and still not attended any actual spin classes. While not tradionally a numbers guy I picked up a bike GPS since I wanted more consistency than just the phone app (Map my Ride), which I thought was great as well. The GPS battery lasts longer, no weather issues, easier to read while on the bike and of course able to integrate all the extra accessories as I become a better biker (cyclist??). After reading up on the importance of cadence, heart rate, speed training, intervals, power strokes, etc, I had to have these accessories sooner than later that are helping me document my progress. I believe these were easier to install than their predecessors since matching magnets are not required. I have a Garmin GPS so there were no link up issues. I also got the chest heart monitor accessory. I like that as well. Easier to see on the GPS screen than trying to look at a watch display on my wrist. Not that coordinated yet.

Garmin Speed and Cadence Sensors

You are using the Brighton Speedometer. Both cadence and speed sensors are compatible.

Garmin sensors / Lezyne Super GPS

Just got these, easy installation and working well.

Garmin speed cadence sensor

The new sensors are very easy to fit and move between bikes. Expensive but still cheaper if you have more than one bike. Cadence sensor is maybe not as good as old version as the cadence seems to fluctuate but overall very good.
