SKS are the Rolls-Royce of mudguards; they are virtually unbreakable and very elegant. Their beauty is not just skin-deep. The stainless steel v-shaped stays make for easy fitting and the quick release Secu-clips are far safer than standard fixings, preventing front wheel lock up in case of a foreign object getting trapped between guard and wheel.
The mudguards have no sharp edges and are amazingly flexible. The production process involves the encapsulation of fine aluminium foil within a matrix of high performance plastic. This process provides high resistance to corrosion and resulting in a high degree of flexibility.

Fitted my 2015 Cannondale Synapse disc really well, with decent clearance all round. Only slight hitches are that you need to drill out another hole in the mudguard for the rear central mount and also the front bolt through the forks / head is too short. Took about a morning to sort out, so not too stressful. Apart from that, I now have 'proper' mudguards on daily ride.
Took a while to fit, as I wanted a perfect fit. Amazed by how rigid they are once fitted. I gave the stainless rods an extra polish so they are now mirror finish. I have already recommended them to others in my cycling group.
Already own one pair of these, and about to purchase another for my second bike. I have tried other makes of mudguards and other SKS varieties which can seem prone to snapping or are not long enough at the back. These have very little reported failures, and have seen me well through thousands of miles. Likewise, people report the fit as fiddly, but the only time consuming part is taking a hacksaw to the steel stays to cut them down to length - can easily be done in less than an hour total. Length is great, and the mudguards can be drilled to accept mudflaps to make you even more popular in group riding.
