Lezyne Macro Drive 1300XXL Front Light

one of the best lights on the market for the price,, very bright and lasts hours..

Great purchase for our cross Canada cycling adventure. Light mounts easily onto handlebars, and stays in place quite well. We haven’t done any dark or rainy rides where brighter light is needed, so we can’t comment on battery life.

The light from this is brilliant, the charge time is also brilliant. However, the mount is not particularly good. I have mine mounted on a carbon accessory bar on my gravel bike as top brakes leave no room. The light slips down over bumps and won’t go tighter, it would be fine over bar tape. Cateye type mount is way better.

It charges fairly fast, last for ages on any sensible setting and is easy to use. What more can you ask for? Well maybe a helmet mount. 😉

Great "all-in-one" light. Definitely a See & Be Seen light. No separate battery pack required (although for the largest capacity light you can purchase an additional battery pack). Multiple light modes including economy, high powered, flash & femto modes. Super bright when needed, lights up the darkest paths & tracks. The light has long run times & memory mode to store your favourite settings. In rating the useability of this light - what you get from this relatively small device - I would classify as having an optimal power to weight ratio, in automotive terms. Strong aluminium construction. Has run the full gamut of heat, rain & been given a good shakedown off the beaten track. From my previous Lezyne light purchases, I am familiar & comfortable with the rubberised mount that comes standard & it has held the light in position well, once I put a bit of a squeeze on with it. I have purchased the hard handlebar mount separately, mainly as a safeguard, . I have become a bit of belt & braces person, as I mature - I am also becoming a believer that with today's road & traffic conditions, you can't have too many lights.

I'm a big fan of riding with lights, day or night. This light is perfect for both. It has a nice battery-saving flash for daylight visibility. I've don 6-7 hour rides with this light, and it stayed blinking the entire time. It also has excellent illumination for darker rides at night or winter. It's solid and feels well-manufactured. The mount is strong and easy to attach and detach. It recharges with my cycling accessories and is good to go for another ride. It's been rained on with no issues.

Good light for commuting and easy off road as still not illuminating a larger area. If I go proper off road the magicshine zeus 6500 are the best and better option. However a good light for the purpose of commuting and minor off road riding. Battery duration is reasonable but charging from being empty takes 4-6 hrs

This light ticks all the boxes for me. It is strong enough for unlit roads and the different light modes are great. The best bit is that you can set it when you turn it on to go between the highest solid setting and a lower one only. So you get to control the lights quickly if a car or something comes the other way. Before you blind them! There was a review I saw about the weight. I really do not think it is that heavy especially as it is just the light. A previous light I had came with a separate battery pack that went on the frame. Now that was heavy! Very happy with this.

My eyes have gotten worse at night, and this unit has enough output for old man eyes! I may start might riding again. Construction is superb, and run time great. Size/weight is very manageable too.
