The Upgrade Smart enables you to connect a Smart trainer to your Windows computer and expand your training options. The Upgrade Smart is specially developed for the Smart series.
The Tacx Trainer software 4, Advanced offers a wide variety of functionalities like longer video’s in HD or Blu-ray quality. For example uploading GPS data and riding through Google Street View (license required) and in virtual worlds. In addition, you can race online against others with the Multiplayer function (license required). While training, your speed, cadence and power is constantly visible on your screen.
With the interactive Smart trainers (Bushido and Vortex) the computer can read and show your performance data and control the resistance unit. In case of a basic Smart trainer (Satori), the computer can only read and show your performance data, but controlling the resistance has to be done manually with the lever on your steer.
If you have a Smart trainer and you want to get more out of your training sessions, the Upgrade Smart allows you to train with the Tacx Trainer software 4, Advanced. This includes the Tacx Trainer software 4, Advanced, a control box to mount on your handlebar and the ANT+ Antenna.
