The unsung hero of the SRAM bottom bracket family, the GXP Team bottom bracket gets on and does the job. The SRAM GXP (stepped) system optimises bearing loads, minimizes drag and improves durability by effectively having a floating right hand side bearing. New Gutter seal technology improves bearing sealing protecting the bearings from the elements to help them last longer.
- External GXP type bottom bracket with anodised alloy cups available in either English (BSA) or Italian thread.
- Sealed cartridge style custom steel bearings with Gutter Seal technology spin smoother for longer.
- Includes the spacers to use this BB in either a 68mm or 73mm width frame shell.
- Please note this bottom bracket is only compatible with GXP cranksets (which feature a stepped axle spindle), it will not function with other crank designs (e.g. Hollowtech/FSA).
- Please take care to select either an Italian or English (BSA) thread according to your frame, if unsure please contact your frame manufacturer.

easy and solid
thousands of miles on this one, no problems. My only advice is to pick up a quality installation tool - there are some "bargain" tools out there, but they will shred the teeth on installation. Spend the $ you save on this, and get the right tool (Park).
creaky crankset no more
Bought this to replace the worn out bottom bracket on my racing bike. Easy to install (I love these external bearing systems) and very smooth rolling once set-up. I can't comment on the longevity of this particular one as I've only had it installed for about a month, but I had my previous GXP bottom bracket for a little over 2 years before needing to replace it with this one...and I really put the older one through its paces. This one seems slightly more serviceable than the older one as well, with removable seals that should allow for regreasing the bearings should the need arise.
